I was thinking, above can be sorted on one sheet and the column – Gain per Month will show … 3 months after’, 6 months after etc or x months after … if users update their entries / data as and when they have time.

Yes fully agree; everything on one sheet; in 3 different columns

Please provide a screen shot of the Platform location for % Performance per Month (maybe my coffee’s not worked through yet, but I can’t think where % per Month is and that’s why I initially deleted your % column).

here it is! per month you need to make an average of course

I was asking, how are you working out that you invested 4000€ in the trades you quote the % Performance for?

Each trade is on a 4000€ base

You did not answer on this 😉

everything on one sheet; in 3 different columns

3 columns would require users to come back to the sheet after 3 months, after 6 months, after 12 months etc to enter their data. The One Year After sheet never had an entry for nearly 12 months so I can’t see 3 columns working?

Also if a User did not enter their data at the 3 months point and it slipped to 4 or nearly 5 months then it would be meaningless unless the user worked out what the performance was at 3 months even though it is now nearly 5 months??? 3 columns seems overly complicated and destined to fail?

What would be more useful is if users posted a screen shot of the Detailed Report – Performance Overall View with Gross Performance (at the bottom) set to Monthly. Then we would have all the meaningful stats available for analysis?

(btw Kris75  attached is probably the 3 Bar System you asked me about, but without checking I can’t be sure as I change System names to suit my naming conventions … there’s another complication to get round!)

For this to work we have to keep it simple?  Let’s just have 1 column for now showing an on-sheet calculation of Gain per Month?

FYI message sent to key contributors

    —————

    Hi @XXX,

I am trying to make this fantastic initiative from Grahal go further, to allow us to select and enhance performing strategies:

    https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/grahals-link-libraries-more/page/3/#post-93038

Would you enter your performances LIVE (no cash to be shown) in order to grow our global excellence?

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sVas9Tz5gA94nwu-dYWgeGKY1cud7HwvqKkeqjP1aIo/edit#gid=0

That would be fantastic as you are a key contributor!

Thanks for message sent to key contributors … we’ll see if we get more entries now!?

The more I think about making it simple for us all …  below is all we need on a spreadsheet

    • Username
    • Date
    • A link to the Detailed Report (set out as my example above)
    • No. of Trades
    • Gain per Trade

I”ll  knock up a hosted spreadsheet and see what we think?

    Hi Grahal,

I did it; I tested the 200 most popular strategies and ranked them by performance 😉

    Hey great!

Where did you record the performance?
