im looking to identify gaps from cash close to cash open and highlight the gap 1 . if its a gap from pevious high /low or close and also tell me how many up days or down days there was when gap formed . and leave highlighted until future intersection . I have a tried and tested strategy which i want to code for trading gaps in index es if anyone can help me out . or needs a reliable strategy to trade

in statement 1 you wrote from CLOSE to OPEN, so statement 2 means you also want to identify a gap from LOW/HIGH to OPEN?
