Is it possible to forward project a line or rectangle or a ray into the future by x mount of bars? Or even just to infinity? I dont want to use the horizontal line because it extends behind onto the historical portion. I want it to start at todays date and project forward.

You need to wait for upcoming v11 already available for PRT customers (rumoured to be available next autumn for IG users). Current v10.3 does not allow drawing in the future.
