    Hi everyone, be much appreciated.

Woundering does PRT have force open? I under stand OCO. Its not that.

hypothetical / simple Example: your first order going Long, your prediction (EMA or price action) showing that target is 10 points or a major Risistance trend line, usally judge buy higher time frame. We all know candle sticks rarely move a perfect stright line momentum…Small pull backs, 2 legged pull backs and etc.

I want to be able to excute a short postion  while holding that 1st postion going long. Then exit out when goes back to long momentum. All in that same ticker name. Boom say it does hit 10 points as predicted.

Point is i dont want to exit out from the first order. But gain the full potential 10points. To reduce my risk i want to be able to “force open” positions  while riding the uptrend (10 points). So have two positions at same time “long” or “short”…but excuted different times of the momentum.

Or should i just hedge it? Find another ticker name and short it. Exit then look back at my first postion (10 point prediction)

Yes manual trading live. V10.3. V11 is still demo.

So be 2 different separate contracts by on the same ticker name. One “long” and one “short” ….short position to reduce my risk. Then close short postion once my prediction momentum is back from 1st long position.

But if in does end up having down trend and my prediction was wrong. I can close my Long position (10 point prediction) and my force open short position…and still get the full profit .

Note: this is not having 2 positions at the same time going “long” & “short” on the same ticker number .

    Thanks mate.

    IG shares that terminology.

PRT v11 has an option to activate it (settings, then trading, manual).
