the honest answer is…i have no idea.  can the value in the code for order size just take the value in the max position window? Otherwise it means changing the code every time i want to change the size. I’m sure there must be an easier way for doing this?

No, as you say, we have to change pos size value in the code and then we lose the performance history as we have to start the System again from scratch (with no performance history attached).

If notifications say “ProBacktest – Alert triggered”

I refreshed my brain on Alert Settings. I had turned them all off (on Demo) ages ago as they got on my nerves.

I reckon you got the ‘Backtest Alert’ because you had left the Algo running on the Backtest window and so it was running on Live data. Can be referred to as Forward Test on the Backtest window! 🙂

I’ve got Alerts  coming out my ears again now!!! 😀
