I appears to have an issue whereby when I name a new screener I cannot get rid of * or (1) as per the attached screenshot.
Also another issue I have is when running a screener and I go to change the list from say Nasdaq to NYSE, the first time and click and select the new market it is not recognised and I find myself always having to do this twice!?
There was indeed a bug with code renaming in the new IDE. This was theoretically fixed on February 12th.
Is this an old code that you are trying to rename, or a code created after that date?
Have you tried completely recreating a new codebase with the correct naming convention?
Yes I redeleted and readded and it is ok. However please note that difficulties were experience with new screen names post 12th Feb.
Thank you for reporting the issue; it’s thanks to reports like this that we can release version 13 of the Beta version more quickly 🙂
Your comment about the code created after February 12th has been noted and I am forwarding it to the dev team.
Thanks Nicolas, any thoughts on the other issue reported re selecting a different list, could this be a bug too?
When switching between lists, ProScreener restarts the scan completely. Perhaps this is due to the latency required for your screener’s calculations? Are you experiencing the same issue with all screeners? I just ran a test and everything works for me. If this happens with all screeners, please create a support ticket via the platform’s Help interface and include a link to this thread, along with a brief explanation.
Yes all screens. It appears to be work first time when within the proscreener window, but when attempting to change from the screener results window it requires two attempts.
