Different Candlesticks Showing on PRT Compared to IG's Charts

  Does anyone know why these charts looks so different (PRT v’s IG), notice that the PRT has the open today at high up at $211.81 and has formed a red candle whereas IG’s 4 hour candle is green? Pls see screens.

  (Price differences as the IG is on the Bid and I think the the PRT is on the Ask although I cannot find that Option in the menus to change it to Bid?)

  Spent a few minutes and I can’t offer any reason, seems well odd, maybe PRT Support will investigate as oddities like this have been due to errors in the datastream previously.  Send in a Technical Report?

  My understanding is that PRT prices on Charts are at the mid price?

  Are the start and finish times of the 4 hour candle the same on both  IG and PRT Chart?

  Reason I ask is it’s not the  first time there has been differences … see 2 x red arrows on attached

  I don’t get any support other than on here! The IG and PRT are both 4pm. Wasn’t sure what you meant by the “two arrows?” Cheers.

  I have another two completely different candlestick formations on the EXACT same open and close times for a company called BIOSCRIP when comparing IG charts to PRT.

  Question is, which chart reflects the true opening price? Please see images and the crosshair giving an opening price of 324 on IG and 330 on PRT.

  I ask because one of these charts (PRT) shows a Bulkowski candlestick pattern with an 83% probability of a bear move, the other (IG), whilst bearish is similar to an Abandoned Baby bear but with “only” 69% probability of a (short lived) down move.

  Any ideas @Nicolas?
