Demo platform crashes/ closes down suddenly

Twice in the last couple of days I have had my demo PRT platform suddenly shut down and disappear on me. The first time I lost a lot of work. It happened again just now – the platform just suddenly disappears! Is anyone else having these crash shut downs?

Obviously it is not possible to send a report to PRT for such a problem which is why I mention it here.

No shutdowns, but its been going very slow…

Also, trying to switch from live to demo accounts on the IG mobile app results in an error every time now. I have to shut the app & re-open.

I’ve given up stressing about how flakey the demo side of things is – I just expect it to be rubbish now.

PRT should rename it Test Account then maybe they will wake up to the fact that things have changed since before Auto-Trading when the Demo Account was just that … to familiarise with the Platform.

If you have an account directly with PRT then it is called ‘PaperTrading’.
