Good morning. PRT tells me that it is an IG problem. They are working on solving it.
Again today, unexpected error when accessing demo account is access to our demo accounts private the same as our live accounts ?

If by ‘private’ you mean – can our brokers or PRT access our Algo code in our Demo Accounts – I would say No, but I’m happy to be corrected if anybody knows any different?

The last two weekend have had demo problems logging in over weekend.
Unless I forget, before market shuts I’m going to try re-logging in to see if Demo available, next day.
First weekend, I was still on till early hours until account/prt times out. Couldn’t get back in later.
I have same / similar problems as discussed on this Topic … no dropdowns are visible (on my IG Dashboard) for me to Login to PRT on both my Demo and Live Accounts .
Anybody else getting the same?
As usual, the IG Status Page show everything as being 100% fully functional (see attached)!

yes same here on all accounts from “my IG” page, but main PRT access remains ok from each account page top right drop down menu.
JC can you get PRT Demo access also via top right on IG page?
I got in once via top right for my Live Account but even that access has disappeared now!
I cleared all my cache, maybe that somehow lost me access via top right.
Coffee just getting through now 🙂 … we need to login to the IG Platform for the respective Accounts (Live or Demo etc) and then we can access the dropdown to get throught to the respective PRT Account.
GraHal, that is almost correct :
I experienced the same (no choice for PRT), but with the difference : I already was logged in in the IG platform (this is the standard when PRT-IG is slipstreamed from a PRT-IB account).
So what helped ? logging out from the IG platform, and log back in again. Of course this closely comes down to the same, but might it happen again to you and you’re still logged in, then the logging out (+ log in) does the trick.
