Nah, it is about the Favourites part. That is the the top part of the both lists. And I have always to scrollllll down.
But not with the IB version.Then it struck me … I have been preparing loads of Algos in different versions (different values for variables and code changes etc) and I had accumulated several dozen in my List of Algos.
I am often thinking about this, but although it seems plausible (in the sense of : I seemed to have seen it too), I never really could prove that. Especially not since I don’t care it any more (read : 150+ or so in there ?). BUT :
What becomes more and more clear is that the system can’t cope with
a. Many entries in ProOrder, regarding running systems in different Instruments;
b. Detailed Reports that *not* even have the checkbox “Open Positions” ticked (but all from the same instrument – could be your situation).Especially the latter causes PRT to be in a complete stand still (this is IG).
I reported both to PRT … (not that I think that that will help).

Just to be clear …
- Above you are referring to the BackTesting and Automatic Trading window?
2. You are NOT referring to the ProOrder and AutoTrading Window?
Both titles in italics taken from the top of the respective windows?
05/02/2025 at 4:44 PM #24670905/03/2025 at 12:03 AM #246732I currently suffer from the platform seemingly asking me to shut down because of the 18 hours / 120 minutes thing (all is dimmed) but no message window to answer upon (-that) is anywhere to be seen. That’s also a means of freezing because I can’t do anything but kill it from Task Manager ?
Anyway, the window I referred to is the one with 150+ Strategies in it to chose from for editing (the same window with the wrong sort order for Favourites).
Ah … while typing … this solves it (SS below). As far as I’m concerned the 18 hour thing – never mind it did not show anywhere. Is that 18 hours correct ? probably.
