Does anyone know why there is different open and close prices on IG vs PRT on DAX ?

PRT and IG (should) show the same prices. Have you perhaps changed “Custom Trading Hours” on PRT?

Which “open” and “close” do you mean?

I think that Abz was comparing Futures or Index with CFD instrument.

My little contribution:

On IG.com, you can read the price of Buy and Sell, i.e. taking into account the Spread, which you can also read on the orders modules of PRT.

In PRT, you can read the price of the index as an average of the Buy and Sell.
