I’ve been having an issue with my platform of late when i view it in ‘Daily’ timeframe. There is only about 15 days displayed and i zoom out . I have selected 1000 units and it works fine in smaller timeframes … any ideas

Hello Daniel,

I cannot provide a definitive answer without knowing the exact problem. From my experience this can have several seemingly unrelated causes:

1) There are several charts of the same market available and you happen to look at one with fewer data. This can happen with the Dax-Mini and the Normal-Dax for example.

2) Sometimes the exact same instrument is available twice. You can find out by using the keyword search and checking the list of all matching markets.

3) Some markets have only a few bars of data, like the VIX for example.

4) And sometimes data just disappears for some time before reappearing just as unexpected. My Dax data reaches only back 4 years every second time I look instead of all the way to ’89. In this case I suggest you contact PRT and your broker via a support ticket.

Ok thanks for the response, i will check with broker! This happens with indexes and ordinary shares but only in daily timeframe.
