Hello

the goldprice on daily chart is Green on investing.com and IG chart , however same instrument on prorealtime plattform daily candle is red anyone know how PRT calculate daily candle ?

For IG clients it usually GMT/BST look at PRT platform for instrument time AND Look at the IG platform charts for the daily open candle price and match on the hourly chart.

i spoke to IG today and he did not have any clear answear why this differ and this could be a problem he said , i have to send them a query to email.

i sent them some screenshot, i do not know if this is a problem for other instrments as well or only gold. see attached pictures.

I have a broker other than IG and PRT and differences occur quite often, just 1-2 pips more or less. Also closing times are different.

THAT candle is GREEN by 0.1 pips! I would not call it GREEN at all!!!! Some differences are absolutely acceptable, in my opinion.

Hi,

If I may, the issue might come from the fact that they are using different timezone to start the daily candle.

PRT/IG is using the UK zone. They start the daily candle at 1am Paris time for sure.

I just checked on the Investing.com the XAUUSD graph and I can see that they are starting the daily candle at 2am Paris time…

Therefore it seems to me that there is 1h lag between the two.

Please check from your side.
