Customized trading times are forgotten in v11 when the platform is closed

When I enter customized trading times, for example 8 – 22 h in DAX, upon restart, the platform has forgotten them and “use opening times of this market 0:00 – 0:00” is marked again (although I always save before exiting) . How can this be avoided and customized trading times be saved and remembered ?

I agree that it switch back to normal after a restart, even if the configuration is saved at exit. Please open a ticket for that issue, I will do the same.

the issue I have is that different custom trading times are not saved in different profiles. eg this is what I would like to have:

profile 1 = 09:00 – 13:00

profile 2 = 13:00 – 19:00

Instead, setting a custom timezone applies to all profiles. Is this by design or can it be changed?

As timezone settings are under Platform settings … I’m 98% sure timesone settings apply to all Templates.

But here is a tip that may help you …. we can start an Algo or Algos under, for example, UTC +5 and then Quit / close the platform then Login again and set timezone to, for example, UTC + 0 and the Algos we started under UTC +5 will continue to run under UTC +5 timezone.

Well, in IG 11.1 you still need to change the time every time you start a session, but it does save during a session. Its a start I guess! And to be honest, is maybe sensible if you change times a bit as at least u know its reset when u log in.

I never change timezone settings … what do you mean above?

Are you saying ‘change times’ or ‘change timezones’?

If Times, is your clock not working on your PC … just link PRT Timezone to the time on your PC??

I never do above either.

I am with IG who offer 24 hour trading.

Are you not with IG is that why you still need to change the time every time you start a session?

Why would you need to do above?

Just asking, maybe I need to?? 🙂
