    I am trying to customise Momentum and Williams %R indicators so that the relevant indicator lines are more visible when they cross the key levels. This is how these two indicators are presented on the main IG main platform, where: –

    – The Momentum line turns green when it goes above the zero line and red when it goes below.

    – The W’ms %R changes colour at the -20 and -80 levels. (Both are per the IG main platform in Dark mode, but I want the added features of PRT).

    I am aware that customising indicators is possible in PRT but I am not code competent (or confident!) to try to do it myself.

    Can anyone tell me how to do this and better still provide me a code to copy in to Indicator Customisation menu to play with.

    Have never used this forum (or any other) as am in my 60’s and much of the lingo is klingon to me. So keep it simple,… Please.

    Are you happy with PRT, but you want to enhance an IG Platform Indicator?

    I was intrigued so I did it for you … you want colours to change as indicated by the red arrowheads on attached?

    Apologies for delay in replying. Thought I would get an email if replies came in as I ticked the box. But many thanks for your doing so, three times!

    I can do what you have. I want the line to change colour (not the ‘fill’) so I can have a minimalist indicator per the Momentum on the IG platform. Am playing with ways to use it as I have long used a fast MA of the Mom to iron out the sharp movements and if  I can achieve the first objective, it would also mean that I could also get the MA to change. Also I use Mom tailored to individual Indexes all of which have various ‘relevant’ levels that can trigger trades when not crossing the centre line, which trigger most.  Visibility improvement achieved for the possibilities would seem to be alot easier.

    Here’s a screen shot from today’s US Tech 100 that shows the 2 indicators (I use dark version).

    I am with you now! I could not get the PRC system to upload my screenshot, have been in touch with Help but heard nothing. So have posted it on the IG forum – along with duplicate of yours as that appeared to be giving trouble too!

    Thanks for yr interest. Am making do with histogram of Momentum and fast MA of it which is better than Mom or MA only.

    This website accepts .jpg and .png as image attachments at < 2 mb file size.

    What have you been trying to attach?

    Also are you using the Select File button when (trying) to add attachments?

    I just tried it again and it didn’t work! I am attach a small .jpg file of the Tech 100 shot I took the other day showing the dark version of the platform and the change of colour, demonstrating its better visibility.

    What happens on this reply will be the result of one more attempt….. !

    This time it worked!! I was obviously doing something I was unaware of.
