Creating alerts based on arrows ?

  Hi … this is my first post forgive if not in correct section ….

  I have a very nice indicator that gives me buy or sell signals with an up or down arrow. I would like an alert that lets me know when these arrows appear but as far as I can see the options only allow for indicators to use the > < or = functions or crossings of lines etc .

  Is there a way to create the alert jus based on the arrow ?

  Indicators cannot set alerts, they can only plot objects on the chart.

  return your conditions into RETURN and set alerts with them.
