COUNTOFPOSITION @ account level

    dear all,

    Thks to the support provided here, I can now deal with a multiple strategy trading system.

    My initial problem was that one trading system would stop whenever the other one had opened a position before, using the account maring.

    Now that both strategies are managed in a single system, the issue is solved.

    Still, I am now facing the same issue when I want to have my system running on multiple assets… DAX and DOW.

    Is there any function / workaround that a trading system can get the count of position or existence of a position on a different asset so that not to try opening a new position ?

    It is (unfortunately) the same answer again:

    Trading systems on different assets cannot communicate with each other.

    There is no workaround (as far as I know).

    Yes, JS is right. There’s no workaround.
