COT Data

    Hi Guys,

    I really love pro realtime but still there is one big downside. There are no COT Data provided. Maybe someone could program that into pro realtime. i think that would be a great improvement and would help to spread the word that pro realtime is the easiest and best solution for traders

    Hi tobin, since it’s not possible to import external datas into the platform, the “Commitments Of Traders” should be then manually entered into it 🙂 Maybe this is something that could be done automatically by the platform developer though.

    How do you use COT in your trading? I think a lot of people would be interested! Me first 🙂

    would be great if they can do that. I use the cot report for getting an idea what the big money is doing. If it would be in the platform I could post some examples how the increase the odds o winning when you are using the power of the cot report

    COT is indeed a great way to provide some longer-term context within which to frame ideas. I know there’s something called a COT Index that works as a stochastic to spot OB/OS in the commercials, but I’ve no idea how that data would be imported here. In a similar vein, Larry William’s POIV indicator which uses open interest looks quite interesting too: http://www.meglioli.biz/xpoiv.pdf  though again I don’t know whether generating something like that is even possible in PRT.

    Hi Nicolas,

    I see this discussion is from 2016. Are there any news on if and when the COT data is implemented to pro realtime.

    I personaly use it a lot, and have to use another plattform for it. Thats sad.

    The COT is very popular at the moment. Tradinview is providing it already.

    I think you should consider it .
