Please show where you configure TS … we don’t have the luxury of TS with IG.
Huh ?
WTF, this is bad. I did not know that. See attached. The sh*tty colour is IG.
But then it should be so that IG does not allow for these order types ? … hard to imagine because you refer to “in-code” it kind of working, right ?
If IG allows these order types, shall I file a request to solve this ?
I dont understand how you have got 2 screens – 1 either side, esp the purple one??
But attached is the nearest I can get to what you show.
I can add a Trailing Stop to a manual trade by right clicking but I cannot show on my Platform a Trailing Stop symbol like you show.
Weird eh?? It’s almost like it’s soemthing that has been forgotten else why allow a TS to be added after a trade has been opened??
I know you are with a different broker to me.
These differences must be enabled by different versions?
I am on attached version, what version are you … just out of interest?
else why allow a TS to be added after a trade has been opened??
All right. What do you mean by that … “after a trade has been opened” ?
Otherwise I had to look a bit for what you could be seeing. … Is it what I show in the attachment ?
I didn’t do it correctly (see 2nd attachment) but that trails all right.
Later … no, I now see what you found. See 3rd … Yeah, that would work too.
… I now also see what you guys complaint about with “the distance is too short”. I never have that with IB …
N.b.: The purple instance is an IB account. Both instances can run at the same time. If not clear, just ask.
With the example at hand anyway, I filed a ticket for this …
PS: The Trailing worked, but I lost massively. Haha.
I filed a ticket for this …
Do you do as above … using a ticket?
I use one click dealing on charts … click once buy, click again sell.
Do you do as above … using a ticket?
Haha, no (if I understand you correctly). I just wrote to Support, who normally* will pass it on to PRT Development. A ticket number springs from that …
*) : If they see some truth in my blahblah.
Maybe you meant to say something entirely different than what I understood from it (my English is not-so-English). 🙂
No, you have smoothed out my misunderstanding … now I read again what you wrote it was all good!
