    Good day,

I use the ruler function to measure the difference between the current price candle and targets such as support and resistences, moving averages, pivot points etc.

Is there a way not to ‘manually’ measure/ calculate the difference of the above, but rather have an indicator that automatically displays the difference on the chart similar to the ruler. I have attached a picture.

This is more for the last/ currently trading candle stick.

Ideally I would like to have the difference (Pips)  listed in difference colours. For example

    Resistence:  Red

    Support: Green

    Moving average 20: Blue

    Regards,

    Segie

That would be possible, but it means that in the code, we need to know the values of the support / resistance plotted on your chart. How do you get them? If you draw them by hand, I’m sorry but there are no possibilities to get their respective values with custom coding…

No problem with your moving average of course. We can plot a text with the points difference, like the way you did in your example.

I usually use ProReal’s support and resistences found on the menu.

Yea, would like to see the texts with points difference without having to use the ruler.

I usually use ProReal’s support and resistences found on the menu.

So there is no possibility to get their values with codes, sorry..

How about the difference between moving averages and price. For example

    a) The difference between price and a 20sma

    b) The difference between price and pivots

The difference between price and pivots

You mean all daily pivots points? included Resistances and Supports ones too?

Yes. But on the 1 hour chart. I have attached a picture
