Has anyone done a code for a first and second derivate for an indicator? Say for a 50 d mean for example.

Do you mean standard deviation or standard error around a mean?

Thanks for responding Nicolas but no, I do mean an actual derivative of a curve.

for example, the funktion x squared har the derivative 2x and the second derivative 2.

Another simpler question, I can’t find the answer in the manual..

Say it is now 14:30 in the afternoon.

average [20] (close) is yesterdays close value on mean20.
average [20] (open) is todays open value on mean20.

What is the syntax for the close of yesterday and the close three days ago?

    Again, thanks for your help!
