Cleaner charts

    Hi – I’m new to ProRealTime having just discovered it via my IG account. So far really happy and enjoying using it, but…

    I like to have full screen with 15 to 20 thumbnail 2 min charts so I can quickly scan my daily favourites for patterns emerging. I find there’s a LOT of noise in a chart window though which confuses the view and reduces space for the actual chart. I can’t find any way to close or shrink the top bar with the units and timescale drop down, to close the bottom icon bar, or to hide/shrink the axis text (price).

    Any suggestions on how I can hide all the noise and maximise space for candlestick patterns would be appreciated!

    I’m afraid there is no way to remove the tool bar from a chart in versions prior to v11.

    With version 11 to come available for IG users in near future (don’t ask when please, I don’t know 🙂 ) , you will be able to hide the tool bar which is now on the left of the price chart.

    Thanks for the response Nicolas. Good to know – I will look out for v11

    When I installed it there was an option to scale the display making everything smaller. That would be a good step in the right direction but I can’t find that option again. Is it an install only option?

    In Options / Template Options / Text, you can reduce the size of the text and activate a checkbox to reduce the icons size to the same size.
