Changing Index Trading Hours

Hi,

I am based in the UK (GMT). PRT (v11 on IG) uses trading hours from 00:00 to 00:00.

I’ve a tradingview account and it creates new candle from 23:00 (GMT) when overnight session opens. I’ve found it much better than the standard 00:00 GMT start for new candles on PRT. I, ofcourse, can change trading hours from 00:00 to 22:00 but how can i make sure new candle times are from 23:00 to 22:00 (e.g.).

Is above on Daily Timeframe … is that what you are trading – Daily?

If you use 1 hour timeframe than you can create a new candle at 23:00 (GMT).

You can’t.

Candles start when each broker has decided that they have to start, there’s no standard behaviour. You can change their label according to your TZ, but you cannot alter the start of any candlestick/bar.
