Yeah I think most of us have done the same!?

9 times out of 10 it works and we vow never to risk it again, but we do! 🙁

Many times in the past, while sleeping, I’ve had the IG App open with an alert set if price reaches a certain level!   That sickening feeling when woken by the alert … knowing that if I don’t exit I will be on a margin call by morning!! 🙁

Even after over 600 winning trades in a row I still trade low amounts per trade

We learn to sleep with 1 eye open LOL

I can’t do that now, I have to get up just after 3am and get to work it had to change!

Do you guys stick to the same amount per point? or change it depending on the signal you get for the trade?

personally I change amount per point depending on confidence level

support/resistance I’ll keep an eye on today on us30 (1 hour chart)

Currently I am having success by scaling in and scaling out … as you say depending on confidence levels.

As each trade goes green by a few points then I open another trade.  Then scale out by highest gain.

Advantage, as I see it, are that if I get the entry decision wrong then pos size = min and if I exit too early then there are trades left running to mop up the points! 🙂

I believe markets move far to slow for us humans to make sense of, we get board and distracted too easy.

If you want to experience it different do what I did and record a 5 minute chart for 7 hours then change the speed of the render and make a 10 minute video out of it.

    watch it and take notes.

It helped me understand the market

Or drop to a 10 sec chart but it creeps off the screen now and then

Careful if your watching that consolidation on the 1  hour, (if)  it breaks to the upside it has a long way up to go

How can you teach a blind man to trade if you can’t trade yourself ?

Above is why I trade the 5 sec TF … there is generally enough action per candlestick to hold my interest!

My favourite time to trade is 14:30 US open … I don’t get distracted then as the action is riveting!!! 🙂

I also have Algos that trade the US open!

If you can’t trade yourself don’t teach a blind man

5 sec timeframe I haven’t looked at trading, it might be worth looking at, I will if I get a chance

Learn how to trade yourself before passing on the knowledge! 🙂

If someone can’t trade they can still teach, just teach how not to trade?
