Can my auto strategy send an alert?

    Hello Nicolas,

    is there any way that i only get signal by a robot when certain conditions are met instead of the robot taking the trade / opening a position ?

    I look only for signal and taking the trade manually my self and not by the robot ?

    Yes … have the Auto-System  running on backtest and ‘Graph’ a binary flag / signal (0 or 1) when the condition is met so you can then set an Alert to email you when the condition is met … you can then dive in and execute the trade as a manual trade.

    I did something similar-ish (or maybe the opposite!? 🙂 ) for a trial month recently (on Demo) … I allowed the Auto-Systems to take the trade as normal, but then as soon as I got chance I dived in and assessed the probability of any profit / loss continuing (taking into account Market structure) and either exited the trade or continued to monitor.

    I set an Alert within the IG Platform to send me a Notification (pushed to my mobile phone) whenever a trade was opened and I then opened the IG App open on my phone.

    It was a very successful month … giving me over £5k in Demo profit!

    It has to be said though the best set of trades and a pleasant surprise was when I went on a walk in the hills and was out of signal / network. When I returned back into signal I was £846 in profit!! 🙂

    Aha there you are @BassemIbrahim … run your Auto-Systems on Demo, do as I did above. but you then execute  the Live Trade manually??

    The reason I did it the way I did was because most of my Systems are short term (1 min, 5 min etc) and if the trade has entered at the correct time in the Market structure then the profit can come in the first few minutes.

    If I had dived in and taken the trades manually then I would have missed the initial profits!

    The good run while was on the walk in the hills was an exception as I was on the right side of the NFP figures! 🙂
