    This is important.  Somebody please double-check my work. Here are the Camarilla calculations:

    R4 = C + (H – L) * 1.1 / 2
    R3 = C + (H – L) * 1.1 / 4
    R2 = C + (H – L) * 1.1 / 6
    R1 = C + (H – L) * 1.1 / 12
    PP = (C + H + L) / 3
    S1 = C – (H – L) * 1.1 / 12
    S2 = C – (H – L) * 1.1 / 6
    S3 = C – (H – L) * 1.1 / 4
    S4 = C – (H – L) * 1.1 / 2

    For example, ABNB April 13, (which would use data from April 12 end of day):

    C = 176.00

    H = 181.49

    L = 175.25

    Let’s use S4 as example:

    176.00 – (181.49 – 175.25) * 1.1/2 = 172.57

    But my chart shows 173.61.  Could someone confirm my calculations please?

    It references previous day’s data.

    These are correct  (apart from PP in line 7, which should read PP = (myC + myH + myL) / 3)https://www.prorealcode.com/prorealtime-indicators/camarilla-pivot-points and match PRT’s.

    Yes, I know that the 13th references the data from the 12th.  But the data I’m being shown for the 13th from PRT doesn’t line up with a manual calculation of data from the 12th.

    It also doesn’t match up with IBKR calculations either, which is what brought this to my attention.

    I could spot a difference in some prices (Close and Low).

    According to my closing prices, both indicators are correct (PRT’s and the custom one above). I even did calculations manually!

    Ok, humor me, what are the exact numbers you used for this line.  The numbers you used from April 12 End of Day:

    S4 = C – (H – L) * 1.1 / 2

    I want to see exactly what you are using because the way I see it, 2 out of three are wrong here.  And IBKR, does not agree with PRT.

    Calculations are those at the above link I posted, that is the indicator I used.

    Have you found why prices are different?

    Different prices yield a different output, the issue is not  the formula.

    I know the formula is not the problem.  A formula is not debatable.

    I’m trying to determine the discrepancy in Camarilla pivot points between PRT and IBKR, because if IBKR is using the standard formulas as they indicate, then there is a difference in the C/H/L between the two platforms.

    I just wanted to see the exact numbers you would use to determine S4 in print, not from the picture, as it’s not that clear to me from the pics.

    My formula is the same, my prices are those on my chart.

    Have you found why my ABNB prices on the chart are different from yours?  Where did you get those prices?

    My prices are from IG’s CFD, but your prices are different from PRT’s Futures as well!

    There’s a bunch of numbers on your charts, and I’m not sure which ones you are using, and I can’t take it for granted that I know exactly what you are using…

    The numbers I got are from IBKR’s Trader Workstation.

    It’s not an insignificant issue that the two calculations are different, these are significant areas for trading equities…just trying to get to the bottom of the problem.

    The numbers are labelled h, l, c with different colors, inside the biggest orange rectangle.

    IBKR’s Trader Workstation quote differently from IG (the gap is not always the same), so whatever is applied to those prices will result in different values returned.

    The calculation is the same, if you replace S4 = C – (H – L) * 1.1 / 2 with my numbers, it becomes:

    .                                                                           S4 = 175.27 – (181.49 –175.10) * 1.1 / 2, the result is

    .                                                                           S4 = 171.75

    which is the same number reported by both the above custom indicator and PRT’s built-in.
