Hello I’m new looking for some help with coding. 🙂

Is it possible to code a buy price?

eg. say you have 5 min bars, and you want to buy when the price hits a certain high/low level within that bar.

Reason I ask is I can’t get tick data for the stock I want to trade.

Hi Real Pro, sorry for not anwered till now. As you may have understood since the date of your post, it is not possible actually to get tick data between bars. Multi timeframe support will make it possible in a next release of the platform. Have a nice day.

Thanks Nic,

When is the expected date for this please?

I spent a lot of time trying to work out how to compress time frames for backtesting and got in a big mess. Much needed update!

I do not have any date for this release. But I heard it is in heavy test at PRT company.. so it’s already “almost” there ..

I tried a few things for coded multi-timeframe indicators here: http://www.prorealcode.com/topic/multitimeframe-indicator/ but only to get 1 hour timeframe in other ones… Still not very accurate though 🙂
