Buy at close with daily bars

  Hi

  I have just started with PRT and have question.

  Is it possible to get PRT backtesting to buy at close with daily bars instead of the opening next day?

  With the code below it buys at next days opening.

  c1 = close > X IF c1 THEN buy possize CONTRACT AT MARKET ENDIF

  1 2 3 4 5

  c1 = close > X   IF c1 THEN buy possize CONTRACT AT MARKET ENDIF

  It will always buy at the next bar open. That is the way ProOrder deals with the code actually. This will be soon thing of the past, because the new multi timeframe support to come will be able to trade the daily timeframe informations on a 1 minute chart, for instance. So please be patient, good things take time 🙂

  Does anyone know what date the new multi time frame support will be available? So that one can buy at market Close with Daily bars.

  Yesterday Nicolas announced that it would start today for paper trading but my platform is yet to give me any update allowing this. We have to be patient – it will be worth the wait I think.
