    Hello,

    I am working on an indicator which, in order to work at its best, should be limited to

    If, for example, the highest spark plug in relation to a moving average is 20 points, the indicator returns 20, logical .

    but if I go to a different time unit, the difference is more or less big accordingly.

    How can I make the indicator be limited and return me in this case a proportional value is not exact?

    Je souhaite savoir comment faire pour borner un indicateur, comme le RSI ou l’ADX par exemple.

     

    Dans cet indicateur, j’ai une valeur positive qui renvoie la différence entre le (high-kijun[26]) et une valeur négative qui renvoie (kijun[26]-low)

    IV Mcm – Do not use French in the English language forums.

    You are French, Nicolas is French, there are plenty of French forum members and a French language forum so if you wish to communicate in French then simply use the French forums!

    It is one of the few simple forum rules that forum members are expected to follow.

    • Only post in the language of the forum that you are posting in. For example English only in the English speaking forums and French only in the French speaking forums.

    DeepL translator is far better than Google translate IMO.

    Normalizing a value: look at example of Stochastic.

    (MyValue – MyLow) / (MyHigh – MyLow)

    You’ll get a value in ratio / percentage compared to (MyHigh – MyLow) scale.
