Bitcoin spread with IG

    Hello,

    Anybody trading bitcoins with PRT with an IG account?

    I wanted to test a couple of strategies but just saw that their spread is HUGE compared to other trading platform/brokers.

    I guess it defeats the whole endeavors!

    IG’s bitcoin spread (or any other cryptos )  is HUGE indeed. .. 84 pips for me !  But so is the volatility …

    And the margin is 50%…

    No one trades Bitcoin at IG…

    Thanks you both for your replies this is what I thought. The IG spread is crazy when you compare it to Coinbase on TradingView…

    Hey, I’v been looking for a similar thread for a while, to bring this up, there is a crypto with 0.1 spread, which wont be to hard for anyone to find. It is available on my Ig Demo, where I have good profitable trading systems running in backtesting. However, when I try to forward test, the automated strategy fails to start or is rejected! Also then says it not available on my Ig live accounts with PRT! Although is available for manual training… is this not a contradiction by  IG or PRT or by Both! Each party blames the other one, when I email to enquire about this contradiction and gap from the providers. So, an I now at a  stage where i must try to set up an API, download the raw data and apply it to a different trading platform, or can we run PTR charts on API arrangements with our own data? Thanks
