Bars history on Intraday Currencies

  In IG PRT platform major currencies have only 5,000 bars history available on 15-min timeframe

  For instance EUR/GBP has less than 1 month available data to backtest.

  While FTSE and other major index have 8 years historic data on the same 15-min candle.

  Could you please provide same historic data for major currencies that is at least back to 2014 for intraday candles.

  That would be much appreciated

  Hello, please create a support ticket in order for IG to expand the history available if that’s possible.

  To send a technical report of your platform:

  1. Make sure that the window affected by this issue is open.
  2. Go to the “Help” menu on the ProRealTime toolbar.
  3. Click on “Technical support”.
  4. Choose the category that fits your issue, otherwise choose “Other”.
  5. Select the concerned window in the drop-down menu.
  6. Explain the issue you are having in the text box, giving as much details as possible.
  7. Click on “Send report”.

  Does anyone have same issue of only 1 month history available in IG PRT on 15-min charts for currencies (example EUR/GBP)?

  I raised ticket but it is not solved.

  I just did a test for you and my EURGBP history on 15 min TF goes back to 21 Aug 2018.

  How many bars do you have selected?

  Are you selecting 100K bars as shown at red arrowhead in attached?

  Thanks a lot for the test. I am indeed selecting max number of bars (200k units) but still it only displays one month for currencies. For index no issue full history is there.

  Is your screenshot from prorealtime IG or the standalone prorealtime? I am using the IG one.

  Yes my screenshot is from PRT via IG, my PRT Account is with IG.

  Keep sending in more Tech Reports, but each time for a different currency affected by the problem! 🙂
