That’s encouraging. Do you have a (Dummy) Spreadbet account to test them on? I don’t trade CFD’s so I’m not sure if the trade would behave differently to a spreadbet (can’t think why it would though…) The inference here is there’s something wrong with my setup or, way more likely, the way I’m doing this! 🙂

Why dont you enable the Demo CFD Account via the IG settings?  Can be useful for such as this scenario.

But yeah I’ll try on my SB account also  and let you know.

I am getting the sames answers on the CFD with HC and FV. I’m just adjusting the test dates to try to 100% duplicate your answers. I’ll then go back to SB and try again in a few minutes

For some weird reason you have different trades … see the red arrowheads … so no wonder you have different final profit values??

You haven’t got Walk Forward as Active have you on one System??

We need to get to the bottom of this … for  both our sanities! 🙂

Agreed. I think this is a matter for Support. I can’t understand why two sets of code would run identically on each of our CFD platforms and on your SB, but differently on my SB. Last thing before Support is to try this on my demo SB account. Thankfully I had little hair before I started this, so I’m in much the same state as I would be if I had had hair! 🙂

I wonder if there’s any beer left?

If you have anything Live on DJI you may be crying in your beer if you are on the wrong side of the massive down spike at 15:00 … well it looks massive on a 5 min TF!!!!???? 🙂

    🙂 Tight guaranteed stops!

I maybe shouldn’t confess to this but my wife and I sometime play “smash ‘n’ grab” on the DJI at 14:30 or when the FED meets. This means a medium-big bet with a 10 point gStop and just grab some quick cash. Today, her ladyship opened short and got whipped out in the first minute. Some you win and…

    🙁

Yeah I’ve done something similar in the past with 2 Orders … one above and one below price level at 14:29 … real buzz when both Orders are hit, e.g Long Order triggers and then a small points target is hit then price reverses enough to trigger the SellShort and then that profit target is met also!

Get the flippin Beers out!!!! hahahahaha
