Automated trading using Ichimoku

The PRT platform has a built in Ichimoku indicator which works well, but when I try to reference the components of the indicator using simplified creation Ichimoku isn’t listed. Please tell me how to refer to the components of Ichimoku in strategies. Regards Steve

Hi minmax! Doctrading did a great job creating and indicator for Tenkan-Kijun cross here: http://www.prorealcode.com/prorealtime-indicators/ichimoku-tenkan-kijun-cross/. Maybe you can import it to your personal indicators, and then use it in ProOrder.

Hi Adolfo, thanks for the response, I’d seen the indicator from DocTrading, as you say he’s done a great job on that and it’s usable in many ways.

However, the Chikou is a plain close[26] as opposed to being plotted behind and the SpanA/B to form the Kumo can’t be plotted ahead due to the limitations of ProRealTime (I think it’s going to be possible in v10.3?) so I was hoping there would be a way to reference the components of the PRT Ichimoku indicator in a strategy, I was surprised to not see it listed when I went into simplified creation.
