Auto restart Automated Strategy

    Is there a way to auto restart a automated strategy if it fails for whatever reason (broker reject etc) ?

    No, there is not.
    This starts with the reasons of the rejection itself. They are often not really justifiable, but the PRT system does not know that and can’t do other than a. knowing that it fails and b. not knowing that a next attempt will be fine again.

    All ‘n all the first you would want is that your System is not kicked out. But that posts about that are countless (because the reasons of kicking out are not justified to begin with).

    Darren Nash  we can enable a setting that keeps any trades open when a System gets Rejected stopped.

    But I think I am right in saying that hardly anybody enables that setting because it would be scary having an ‘out of control‘ trade runing while you are asleep / at work etc?

    We can enable a setting to receive an email advising that System XYZ was Rejected / stopped.

    I have that turned on already.  If the broker rejects, the strategy pauses, it doesnt keep it running.

    With the setting enabled, trades stay open if / when the Algo gets stopped / Rejected.
