AUDUSD 0.5 mini size now on IG

I don’t know when this happened but I noticed IG has reduced the minimum contract size on AUDUSD to 0.5 mini.

Hopefully this will be applied to other pairs too and maybe they will go down to 0.1 mini to match MT4 and cTrader.

Its on IG and PRT you can now trade AUDUSD 0.5.

This IG page might be of interest – it is the spreads and minimum bet sizes for indices. I haven’t looked at it for a while but at first glance I can see some major changes to minimum bet size.

Wall Street down from £1 to £0.20

US500 down from £5 to £1

I guess it is IG’s way of coping with the now new massive margin costs for retail traders.
