Associate trigger disfunction??

    Can anyone tell me why the associate trigger function automatically reverts to just an alert when set as an entry and exit mechanism? Its proving to be extremely unreliable. Any suggestions how to fix it or is it just a system glitch?

    works fine for me (most of the time)

    the only time when this happens (for me) is when connection to servers is lost then the order needs to be attach again

    i dont know why?

    Ok because i log in and out thru the day… that could be the cause of it….

    For anyone who uses this function, after testing it the last few weeks it pops out and reverts back to just an alert when your computer logs out to inactivity. Its a great function that needs to be fixed to a hard order!

    I second that! The alert allows to semi-automate all the indicators that are not available in proorder.

    An Order associated with an Alert is stored locally on your PC and so if you lose connection / switch off at night etc then the Order detail is lost.

    It is not a bug / something that needs fixing as such because it is working as intended.

    I know this because I queried it with PRT over 12 months ago.

    Alert detail is stored remotely. A proposal to PRT to also store associated Order detail remotely may be considered by PRT?

    Just discovered that if you adjust the settings on your computer so it never shuts down ( in system preferences in Apple) the associate trigger function with work 24/7.. Problem solved!

    Discovered that IG shut down their severs at 11.30pm AES time everyday and that deletes all associate triggers. Funny how the alerts remain but the associate triggers are deleted every day!!!
