Aroon indicator examples

I’ve never used the Aroon indicator before and I’m slightly confused by the examples in the PRT documentation https://www.prorealcode.com/documentation/aroonup/ N = 20 myAroonUp = AroonUp[N] if(myAroonUp > 50 ) THEN SIGNAL = 1 ELSE SIGNAL = -1 ENDIF RETURN SIGNAL coloured(35,194,57) This seems to make sense, except that Aroondown shows the same example: https://www.prorealcode.com/documentation/aroondown/ N = 20 myAroonDown = AroonDown[N] if(myAroonDown > 50 ) THEN SIGNAL = 1 ELSE SIGNAL = -1 ENDIF RETURN SIGNAL coloured(221,33,33) Is this a typo? Should maybe be “if (myAroonDown < 50 )” ??? or have I completely misunderstood how this works? 🤔🤔🤔

I shortened both to 25 and 50 respectively.
The rules shows for this 5 minutes TF that the detection of the turn around is at 1 hour and 20 minutes earlier.

Without changing the ruler …
When I change to TF 1m (5 times less) and I increase the Aroon length to 5 times more (125 vs 250) I would detect the turn around in half of the time. This is without further downsides for this example I (again) did not look for (hence a random situation).

Now I am fed up with this. Haha.
