Android – IPhone autotrading

    I am new to this forum and this might be a basic question.

    Is there any way of starting/stopping any autotrading strategy via Android or Iphone ?

    If you are with IG then you can use the IG App and stop an Auto-Trade but of course then it stops the Auto-System … but hey, it’s never wrong to take a profit, right!? 🙂

    Thanks. Yes I am with IG.

    Closing a position I guess will stop the autotrading.

    But can you bring a screen similar to pro autotrading, where you can start and stop trading systems from your mobile.

    Hey hang on, I have never even tried this … why can’t you logon to IG via the net using your phone and then open PRT … like you would do on a PC???

    I haven’t tried as I use a 28 inch screen as I cant be doing with tiny text etc, but this option would be useful when out for the day!

    Let us know how you get on please??

    I had the same idea but when I log in to IG on android there is no Prorealtime option. I think it’s a Java issue. They do have a mobile website m.prorealtime.com but it requires a separate login and doesn’t seem to be included with the IG account. I’ve written to them to double check.

    I’d recommend you take full control using a remote desktop app.  I use Splashtop which connects my Iphone to an old PC at home (uses Win 7 which is important as it doesn’t shut down for windows upgrades like 10, thus breaking the connection). The IG mobile app is very good, but doesn’t have full functionality.
