By “Price=Close” I mean the current (real-time) price…
So, when the “real-time” price/close >= value, the alert goes off…
In your video it is a bit confusing because it looks like the alert goes off at the opening of the next bar but in this last bar the “real-time” price went through the specified value…
it looks like the alert goes off at the opening of the next bar
Yes above is what I am saying is wrong, i.e. Alerts are not working correctly on my Live Account.
I will do another video on my Demo Account, which did work correctly earlier today when I tried.

In this video I see the same thing happening, when the “Price” >= Value” then “alert” is triggered…
(When you use the “Price” in the “Alert Setting Window”, this price refers to the current price of the “Close” of the Heikin-Ashi bar…)
this price refers to the current price of the “Close” of the Heikin-Ashi bar
Where are you getting the above definition from?
How can it be
realtime Alert if we have to wait until the end of a bar / open of next bar in order to be Alerted.
Any why – if realtime means current bar close – does PRT have the alternative option to enable Alert on ‘current bar close’?

When you use “Price” in the “Alert Setting Window” which “Price” do you think this is…?
Current Price / Mid Quote Price and thus – in my videos posted above – the middle of the Bid-Ask Band Indicator.

The ‘Current Price / Mid Quoted Price’ of what…?
The ‘Current Price / Mid Quoted Price’ of the Instrument on which I am setting up my Alert … in the videos I posted, the Instrument was the DJIA / Dow Jones.

It’s not the “Current Price / Mid Quoted Price” of the Dow Jones, but the “Current Price / Mid Quoted Price” of the Heikin-Ashi bar…
Have you looked it up in PRT docs then or what?
If you are correct than that is well weird as clearly I am interested in getting an Alert of the IG mid-Quoted Price as that is the Price that I am going to enter or exit my trade on etc.

If you’re interested in receiving alerts based on the “IG mid-Quoted Price”, then you shouldn’t use “Heikin-Ashi” but regular candlesticks instead…
JSParticipant

Suppose you use regular “candlesticks” in your chart and you want to set an “alert”, you use “Price” in the “Alert Setting Window”… what “price” do you think will be used…?
Same problem (as discussed in posts above) occurs with Candlesticks (I just tested this) so me saying the problem is with Heiken-Ashi was a red herring / misleading.
Anyway this gets weirder and weirder … I closed my Live Platfrom and low and behold, Demo Platform Alerts now work exactly as they should work.
The Bell icon and the Audible Alert both show the
instant the Alert Line / Value is crossed by the mid-Quoted Price!
See attached video, wind on to 1 minute to see The Finale / The Big Reveal!!!! 🙂

The “Big Reveal” is that you suddenly don’t use “Heikin-Ashi” anymore but regular “candlesticks”…
