  Hello,

   

  The Elliott Wave considers a complete trend cycle, including an impulsive phase followed by a corrective phase. It is helpful to detect the beginning of a new trend.

   

  The Wolfe Wave aims to identify the imbalance zones, reflecting an excess in the market. It is mainly helpful to detect a trend reversal.

   

  Regarding my backtest, the Elliott Waves are efficient in the daily and weekly timeframes, while the Wolf wave works well in lower or equal daily timeframes.

   

  These two strategies have different uses that respond to different situations. 😉
