Hi everyone!
Since the marketplace released less content of new algorithms and ideas have been posted on the forum. I respect all parts of that.I am just curious how you all are doing result wise for YTD as it has been a very interesting year so far. ProRealTime detail reports would be nice to see.But as strategies are not shared anymore that much, let’s talk about money management. How do you manage your positions in ProOrder? Do you run cumulative positions on one algo or do you run static size? Do you increase the size as the algo makes profit? Do you lower the size when you “expect” the algo to lose in some market conditions? Do you run any type of Money management code that you could share?I myself run static position size over 10+ algos. I run the same size on every algo, as I value them all good (orelse I would not run them). I have a quite hedge portfolio of both long and short algos running on different markets and timeframes. So even if some lose the other ones may be winning and in the end I hopefully win.
Will be interesting hearing your thoughts and ideas on how you beat the market or dont 😉 !

07/24/2022 at 12:51 PM #19783207/24/2022 at 1:01 PM #197833There are several on the link below … Filter by MM on column B.
It looks like this is out of the context (of what @ wants to know).
07/24/2022 at 1:44 PM #197843Well it’s a start as it is Money Management snippets? 😉
Also if clicks through on the MM links then he will / may land on a Topic where MM is discussed and so he may get the answers he desires?
There are precious few of us on here who answer other members questions (even less so since Market Place?) so to save waiting for days I offered the Snippet Library.
Anyway it is a ‘wide question’ that asks and that is the very type of question that often goes unanswered?

07/25/2022 at 2:17 PM #197920Well I know I can search the library.. I just wanted a conversation of what has worked out for everyone. As we are in a very special stage of markets.
07/25/2022 at 2:19 PM #197921Just moneymanagement wise nothing else. But hey.. I will just go search the library instead.
07/25/2022 at 3:35 PM #19792507/28/2022 at 11:14 AM #198031I still have most of the strategies, which were posted here 1-2 years ago, saved. (Mother of dragons, various vector algos, Hull, etc.) all were excellent in backtests. In the period after that most of them are almost all account killer.
07/28/2022 at 11:35 AM #198032Meanwhile, I take the view that you don’t need super special indicators. It just takes a few good easy entries in a market where the opportunity is greatest for price to move in the right direction. There is no such thing as a super entry. The more you filter, the more opportunities you can miss. It depends on a good exit.

07/29/2022 at 9:39 AM #198059Well, I would have liked to see an update from all the strategies on the marketplace to date…
That’s a really good point – surely to know what you are buying all strategies in the Market Place need to post monthly updates. If the last update is three months old then what is the point. I know some have a free trial period, but others don’t.
07/29/2022 at 9:40 AM #198060But as strategies are not shared anymore that much,
Yes – I remember the good old days! 🙂
