200000 bars for backtest

More Bars for backtesting,

Hi,

I currently have access to 100,000 on my 1mn and 1hr charts for example.

I know some have more historical data available.

Also other platforms have addition bars available by downloading historical data from the broker.

Is there a way for me to gain more bar history, on PRTComplete, IG Au customer, Thanks.

Topic moved to ProRealTime Platform Support forum as the ‘Welcome New Members’ forum was not the correct place for it. Please try to post in the correct forum with future posts.

IG limit historical data to 100K. In some countries it is possible to get 200K if you open an account with IG via PRT (PRT sponsored account) but I believe from previous discussions that this is not an option in Australia. Hopefully IG will soon allow account holders to be able to use PRT V11 which gives access to much more data – but we will have to wait to see how much of it IG choose to allow us to have access to via their accounts.
