different trading hours for different time periods

    Hi

    Is it possible to specify different trading hours for different time periods for the same indice. I would like to have the 24h time period for my 4 hour charts to get a better long term picture but only the cash session time periods  8-4:30 UK and 2:30-9pm US time for my 5 Min charts as the cash session indicators (movings averages, bolinger bands etc) tend to carry more weight on these timescales.

    ATM I have to keep changing the settings back and forth each time which is annoying.

    Have you tried saving the two different Trading Hours (you mention above) as 2 separate Templates?

    I doubt it will work as Trading Hours are  a Tab under Platform Options, but let us know if you try it please?

    yes I tried that, but templates like the trading hours in options operates on all charts at the same time, I can’t see any option to apply certain trading hours to one chart and another set of trading hours to another chart in the same indices and have them both open at the same time.

    I can switch between templates but its not much different than switching trading hours in options.

    I thought about having two copies of prorealtime open at the same time but that is not allowed, second launch fails.

    As you are UK you can have an SB and a CFD Platform open at the same time.

    good idea, I will use that.

    i’ll put in a feature request to have multiple timeframes for different charts, never know, might be supported some day.

    Is it not Multiple Timezones / Trading Hours that you want / mean?

    Timeframe on a Chart is like 5 mins, 1 Hour, Daily etc
