How to be notified when order is executed

    Is there any possibility to be notified writing a text in an external file, using a sms alert or in any other way when in proorder a trade is open and closed?

    I thought to build an indicator that follows the same rule of Automatic Trading System and set a variable to 1 when the strategy should be long, -1 if it should be short and 0 when it should be flat. To use an alarm that sends an email when the indicator change.

    It sounds quite complicated, do you think an easier solution exists?

    No, there’s no support fo alerts in ProOrder.

    Yes, you can make an indicator replicating the automated strategy, then from the platform set an alarm on that indicator that will send an email (it is reported for free from the alert window) when your conditions are met. I think PRT offers sms service with a payment for a chunk of 100, but you’d better take a look at the ProRealTime site or contact their support.

    Another question:

    proorder executes orders also when platform is closed.

    Will alarms be sent when indicator reaches the condition  also when platform is closed?

    My answer is NO for sound alerts, since they are not server-based.

    I have never used sms/email alerts, so I cannot answer, but I guess the answer is no since they are connected to the same alert you have set on your platform.

    I suggest that you contact ProRealTime for more details.
