I am brand new to pro realcode, and I am just using the simplified creation for now.
The problem I am having, is that, I want my system to run on the 3min chart, but I want the system to automatically turn off when the “Renko” chart turns.
For example, whilst the price is above the EMA20 on the 4hr chart, and the same on the 1hr chart, and the Renko chart is green, then my “long bets” system is valid.
Now, I want this to run by itself until it no longer becomes valid. This means that if the price on the 4hr or 1hr charts turn below their EMA20, or if the Renko chart turns red, then I want the system to stop.
How do I implement these rules using the simplified creation? I can only seem to add in settings for the exact chart that I would be trading on (the 3min chart).

You’re right, it is very limited in functionality.
Best you can do is go as far as you can with the GUI Tool and then put your code on here and ask a specific question as to what you need adding to the code.
If you code what you want (using GUI) on 3 min TF then making a few lines into MTF will be easy.

Most of us are willing to share and share alike, and we get help from the super coders on here by sharing anyway!
In my experience, even if we think we have the Holy Grail it will turn out not to be 🙂 so we may as well share and then we not feel selfish when we use somebody else’s code?
Its not the fact, that I want to keep it secret, as it’s just a very basic test automation. I just don’t want to clog up the forums with stuff that I have no idea about haha.
I’m reading into the MTF stuff now, so I’ll post it if I can’t find the answer here.

Automatic trading with Renko is not yet possible, so playing with TIMEFRAME instruction will not help on that part. But we have already simulate renko bricks construction on classic timeframe, see #renko tags in the library. You can also use the website search engine, forums are full of renko related topics 🙂
