None of my Algos produce any trades anymore

Been using PRT for many years and today i noticed none of the 100’s of algos ive written now produce any trades . Is there someting i need to know . I am geting detailed report (BETA) with zero trade data . These are known systems that produce many trades over a decade … Frustrated

I have re-installed the software , tried different computers , wrote a basic algo using the assistant and still nothing . It is broken , please help

Are you using PRT v10.3 Algos on PRT v11?

What version PRT are you using?

Attached is my version.

Post the code or the .itf of an Algo that doesn’t work for you and I will try it on my Platform to see if it works for me.

Its the PRT v11.1 . where the older algos i wrote in V10 were working they no longer do . Any algos i have written since i started on V11.1 also dont work . I wrote a brand new algo just to test and also not working . I will test a brand new algo from the library and get back to you .

Sounds like terms in the old Algos not recognised in V11.

Also maybe you are still using the same terms in Algos written today but v11 is not highlighting unrecognised terms nor showing as syntax error etc?

If you choose Algo from Library then make sure it’s Algo specifically for v11.

I have written many algos in the v11 version none of those work . Forget the v10 algos for now . Nothing works from any version . This has happened overnight , i dont believe it’s the the code . I think its the platform . The detailed reports have ( beta) in the description .

Hi,

Not sure if this is the same thing but I have some routines running in demo and I just noticed one that should have traded a few days ago, and did not.

I have had problems with routines that backtesting shows trades but will not actually trade ( using IG prorealtime) but had thought it was fixed.

I also raised a fault via the prorealtime help options…

You should sent a message through your platform with a code access. ( CTRL + M )
Give as much details on the code, and trades it should have taken.

Thankfully it was a silly mistake again. I set the maximum contracts to 1, when starting it running,thinking this was the maximum positions it could take. The system tried to first place 1.8 contracts!
