ProRealTime Demo – Disconnected

    Hi, I can’t find any information about any issues in IG.com

    Yet I cannot connect to my Demo account, only sais “Disconnected”

    Tried re-install software , reboot and starting from another web-browser.

    Nothing seems to solve the Disconnected issue.

    Any known problems that aren’t announced?

    Ah right … I thought you meant you couldn’t log in.

    After I said above mine was all good (as I did log in) I noted that I was disconnected also.

    I just logged in again and yes I am still disconnected same as you.

    Hi Guys,

     

    I am having the same issue I went to the pro realtime site and they have said that the site is down due to maintenance which could be a good thing(hopefully we get some new features). The only frustrating thing is I don’t think this was communicated to us so we do not know how long it will be down for ?

     

    Maybe I missed something did any of you get an announcement?

    No I have not seen any email or Status Announcement etc, but then again … being a mushroom springs to mind!? 🙂

    If that helps, when connecting to prorealtime v11, the announcement says platform unavailable “until end of this afternoon”

    Connecting to IG live account v10.3, it works fine for me, connection is ok.

    But for IG demo I don’t know, looks like several of you can’t connect and it’s a saturday, so… putting all those pieces together it looks more like servers maintenance affecting those 2 types of account out of the 3 (has to be done outside of trading hours), rather than new features which often occur on weekdays.

    If you’re working on your IG live account too right now, I’d recommend frequent saving not to lose most of your day’s work in case it becomes unavailable too during the day and you get logged out while away from the desk.

    Same problem for me, and I cannot connect to my IG live account v10.3. It would be nice to receive a simple email before that…

    Thanks for the update. I just tried loading a V10.3 and it doesn’t seem to work so it might just be better too wait till the afternoon…..

     

    I have not tried to launch in Java mode so will not be able to say if that would work

    The prorealtime website will not warn you about a possible shutdown of your broker servers.

    Broker Status Page has been saying since 8 o’clock this morning that all Systems are Operational.

    Sounds good that on v11 there is splash page when logging in that gives alerts etc as then we can do other tasks and not be frustrated.

    But as Francesco said … v11 is just a mirage for us IG laggards! 🙁

    I’m going to sit in the sun again! 🙂

    Is PRT no longer compatible with IG…..Or is IG still making changes PRT ?

     

    The prt website no longer says anything about maintenance but I still can’t log in to PRT from IG.

    Is anyone else still having this problem?

    Sorry GraHal, maybe I shouldn’t have said “prorealtime v11” it might have been misleading, I would have given a better description by adding .com to refer to ProrealtimeTrading: “prorealtime.com v11” or even getting rid of the v11 all together and just say “prorealtime.com”. For me the split “warning message” / “no message” is who you have an account with (IG or PRT Trading), not which version of PRT, the message was when logging in the website, before reaching the launch software button, so it was not a v11 splashscreen.

    (and I’ve been logged out my IG PRT v10.3 too by now, so maintenance everywhere now)

    Yes, same for me. Can’t launch in either standalone or java mode

    , is something you can help to relay to PRT? On IG, everything seems fine, it started after PRT website says maintenance.

    I’m not saying must be due to PRT maintenance, but the timing is just so coincident…
