Most of my algos have a ratio stoploss/target>1 (I check the 30 last one but didn’t find one with<1) so I didn’t see that we can’t scale out on auto-trading !
What does ratio stoploss/target have to do with scaling out??
I always try to have my ratio stoploss/target as near to 2 or more … as the System works okay with … TP = 2 x SL .
I did backtets to exit 1/3 at 1*stoploss, 1/3 at 2 stoploss and the last 1/3 at 3 stoploss for example
But I always find worst results than to have a target at less than one stoploss (but you need more winning trades when you have thus ratio<1)
