Hi to all and hope to get a response other than what I sure I will get?.

To save everyone’s breath, I am aware PRT is supported by Interactive Brokers, IG Markets, and SAXO bank.
Great, but, surely, such a program that’s so sophisticated, so fantastic to use, easy to learn, extremely fast (except the latest version lags a little in response when working on the chart
changing certain parameters), amazing and in-depth range of indicators, etc (I could go on all day), whoever developed this would have put in a great deal of time and effort, SURELY
the above-mentioned brokers can’t be the only 3 brokers that support the use of PRT?….. it can’t be?…..

My question- Can PRT be linked/connected/used etc to any broker of choice?….

I’m actually after a DMA/STP, non-dealing desk broker with low min deposit, ASIC regulated, Home-based or office in Australia, Zero spread account – Mini account and/or standard account, Demo account with no expiration,
Excluded US/JP clients, with either or both fixed spreads and variable spreads, live chat, phone support (friendly, eager to help), allows hedging, a good range in financial markets (Forex (Major & Minor including orders placed in mini lots),

and so
on associated.

I await in anticipation for anyone to answer.
in case you’ve forgotten after all my dribbling, don’t bother answering if your remedy is Interactive, IG Markets, or SAXO.

So you ask a question but don’t want to know the answer?

Why asking such question, then?!

…..and you ask it in the wrong place.

The ‘Welcome new members’ forum is a place for new members to introduce themselves and tell us a little about themselves and not a place to ask questions regarding the platform.

Your topic will be moved. Please try to follow the forum rules with any future posts. 🙂

If you plan to take orders through the platform, then there are no other options for brokers than the ones you mentioned.

can’t be the only 3 brokers

Seems that way?

Other Platforms may come cheaper to the brokers?

Maybe IG struck some kind of semi-exclusivity deal with PRT?

If you find a broker that fits your specification be sure to let us know please?

Thank you 🙂

ProRealTime is used as a software by many third parties. But in order to take position through the platform, the only possibilities are listed on the prorealtime trading website: https://trading.prorealtime.com/en/brokerage (the list can change dependently of your country).

Firstly – my apologies to all moderators, key masters, and users if any of my first posted content has offended you. This is my first on any platform forum and was unsure (even though I did look around) there was anyone else with the same or similar question. I didn’t realize I was opening content in the wrong section.

Secondly – I did ask the question and wish to gain an answer if possible.
As in the introduction, the name is Pat. I mainly trade forex and indices as day trader. Not sure if anyone wishes to know anything else. If so, please do, your welcome. Not sure if you’re able to see my email, but if you can your welcome to email.

Lastly – As to the forum rules. The only one that I could relate my topic to was – ‘Post your topic in the correct forum:
_ ProRealTime Platform Support: only platform related issues.’ I don’t have a platform related issue. I have a platform not being used by other brokers issue.

To those who answered my query, thank you, I appreciate it and yes, I think it’s a shame PRT is not used by other brokers. I’m not much for MT4 or MT5.

To Gra Hal, I will advise you should any information change and thank you.

Never-the-less, before I get into trouble again, thank you to all.

Hey there Pat,

Did you consider the possibility that it is a (weighed) choice of PRT to not have too many brokers and that each broker will have its rarities which all need to be covered for hence take quite infinite time (which in the end is development time) ?

Maybe I’m dumb or blind or stupid, but I even like the rates of IBKR (not so of IG) at, for example, paying 2.20 euros for Forex 100.000 EUR/USD and hardly spread.
You could want more instruments though, although with Forex I’d say you have it all.

I hung around for a while on a platform starting with S, them indeed supporting all the brokers you can think of. Look at their support forum … it is ONLY about broker issues and how they have to fight them (including IBKR but alas). Those guys lose all their precious times on broker issues (and data feeds, which is another you could want infinitely).
No wonder at all that their charting is, well, worth nothing much.

I do around a 1000 trades per month and I am not even a scalper. Say half of the trades I do, I do with a customer on the phone (which phone calls are not trade related at all). It is the platform which allows for this with all its angles and insights. The platform and subscriptions to markets cost me zero because of the credits received from trades.

Oh, I may have an other argument that works 180 degrees opposite of other platforms : You won’t even know about your broker really, when using PRT. Thus, you won’t have a separate contract with IBKR – you have a contract with PRT. From there all is arranged for, and next you surely can trade with IBKR directly and for example add market subscriptions directly through them.

Don’t underestimate the beauty of server side trading (throw your PCs to the sharks, while trading continues). There is so much more (positive) here …

Can you tell why you would like an other broker than for example IBKR ? (you may have a 100 legitimate reasons !)

Peter
