Rotating new contracts on futures

Hey all, still pretty new to futures, ive seen volume come in to the new contracts for MES and MNQ however for dax its still basicly no volume, are dax traders just not switching until it expires? Isnt it like 1-2 days left? This normal or am i missing something?

Hello !
The quadruple witching day is this Friday. Normally, trading volumes increase as it approaches. The exact timing varies greatly depending on the each market. It can be several days before or just a few hours before. It all depends on current positions and market participants.
